Job summary

AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking a Part-time Café Clerk to process transactions at the front counter and keep the cafe area stocked and clean. Responsibilities include assisting with food preparation, restocking, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met.

Candidate should have strong customer service skills, basic cash handling experience, and the ability to communicate effectively in English. ServeSafe certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food items and ability to interact with customers to answer questions and to promote food offerings.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• ServeSafe Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Process customer transactions swiftly and accurately using the cash register and point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area in compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Support daily café and kitchen operations by assisting with restocking supplies, food preparation, patient meal production, dishwashing, meal delivery, and other tasks as assigned to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and resolving concerns professionally.
