Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking a friendly Restaurant Team Member in Alton, IL. You will be at the heart of hospitality, providing warm service, assembling fresh food, and helping guests with a smile in a fast-paced bakery-cafe environment.

You will greet guests, work across stations, maintain cleanliness, and support the team to ensure every guest receives our best. Competitive pay, tips, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16+; ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Clear communication in a loud environment.
• Food safety training (Food Handler's Card) as required by law.
• Food service experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Execute duties for Production, Prep, Service, Cashier, Expo, Drive-Thru, Barista, Guest Experience Champion, QC, etc.
• Greet every guest with warmth and enthusiasm.
• Assemble fresh salads, soups, and sandwiches with care and accuracy.
• Stay on the move and assist guests at entry, cashier, and dining areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment following food safety standards.
• Be informed about daily priorities and adapt to changes with a positive attitude.
• Support team success by completing cleaning and stocking duties and helping set up the next shift.
