Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Hilton Head Island, SC is seeking a Café Shift Leader to supervise crew, oversee daily cafe operations, and coach team members to uphold brand standards.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in restaurant or fast-casual settings.
• Excellent customer service and guest engagement.
• Ability to drive operational excellence in front and back of house.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with crew members and customers with a fun and welcoming attitude.
• Proficient in all areas of daily cafe operations including preparing food and smoothies, operating the register, following cleaning checklists, and monitoring inventory levels.
• Ensures each station is operating to Tropical Smoothie Cafe standards.
• Trains and coaches crew members during each shift to ensure brand standards are maintained.
• Uses tools to monitor and achieve labor and inventory goals.
• Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms and other areas in the café.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds to refill ice, restock shelves, and take out trash.
• Follows all safety and security policies established by Tropical Smoothie Caf.
