Job summary

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is seeking Café Crew Members to deliver on our promise of healthier lifestyle with tropical fun. You will interact with guests in a fast-paced environment, prepare and assemble food and smoothie ingredients to brand standards, and maintain cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with crew members and customers with a fun and welcoming attitude
• Prepares and assembles food and smoothie ingredients to brand standards in a fast-paced atmosphere
• Uses sanitation practices to handle and prepare food
• Sets up and monitors food and smoothie workstations
• Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms and other areas in the café
• Follows steps to operate the register, taking orders, handling cash, and managing the drawer
• Lifts and carries up to 25 pounds to refill ice, restock shelves, and take out trash
• Follows all safety and security policies established by Tropical Smoothie Café

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interacts with crew members and customers with a fun and welcoming attitude
• Prepares and assembles food and smoothie ingredients to brand standards while working in a fast-paced atmosphere
• Uses sanitation practices to handle and prepare food
• Sets up and monitors food and smoothie workstations
• Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms and other areas in the café
• Follows steps to operate the register, including taking customer orders, accurately handling cash and being responsible for the drawer
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds to refill ice, restock shelves, and take out trash
• Follows all safety and security policies established by Tropical Smoothie Café
