Job summary

7 Leaves Café in Westminster, CA is seeking a Shift Lead to assist the manager in running daily cafe operations. You will delegate tasks, maintain a safe, clean environment, and ensure smooth operation when the manager isn’t on duty.

The role typically requires 25–30 hours per week with shifts from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM on weekdays. Candidates should communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and help the team deliver a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced cafe environment is a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Ability to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.

• Maintain operations at a high standard with or without the manager present.
• Stay calm in stressful situations to ensure smooth operations while assisting the team.
• Communicate clearly with team members and manager to ensure smooth transitions.
• Create a positive team environment by supporting teammates.
• Assist team members to solve problems and improve efficiency.
• Perform opening, closing duties and general bakery operations with punctuality.
• Ensure all orders and inventory are received and organized accordingly.
• Follow all health, safety and sanitation procedures by the team.
