Job summary

Urban Air Palmdale is seeking friendly Café Team Members to serve guests, prepare and serve food and drinks, and handle cashier duties in a fast-paced setting.

You will work in the kitchen or service area, maintain cleanliness, follow health codes, and contribute to a welcoming guest experience. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Basic math skills for handling cash.
• ServSafe or similar food safety certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests at the counter with guest relations and care.
• Provide product recommendations to ensure positive experience.
• Maintain stock levels for Café supplies.
• Manage queues and upsell to maximize profit.
• Keep Café and surroundings tidy, including dishwashing and trash.
• Handle guest feedback and report to Leadership.
• Follow guidelines and procedures.
• Measure and assemble ingredients for menu items.
• Cook and store food at proper temperatures.
• Ensure health code compliance.
• Maintain organized kitchen and storage areas.
• Participate in staff meetings and training.
• Perform other duties as needed by Leadership.
