Job summary

The Hilton Milwaukee, part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a Café Server to join our downtown Milwaukee team. You will greet guests, input orders at the POS, deliver meals and beverages, and ensure a friendly, timely, and professional dining experience that meets our high standards.

Qualifications

Prior food, beverage, cash handling and hospitality experience preferred.
Proficient in English for guest communication.
Ability to maintain service standards and professional demeanor.
Learn table settings, service ware, and menu items.
Recall and promote menu items.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and explain specials & promotions.
Record and input guest orders into the Point of Sale system.
Retrieve, confirm, and deliver orders with condiments; follow liquor regulations.
Replenish beverages and ensure overall guest satisfaction.
Collect payment, thank guests, and invite them to return.
Complete side work and cleaning tasks including restocking and replenishing condiments.
Maintain self-banking procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.
