Job summary

North Ayrshire Council's KA Leisure division is seeking a part-time Recreation Assistant (Cafe) at The Portal in Irvine, KA12 0AZ. You will help run the cafe, ensure cleanliness, and support customers with friendly service.

Responsibilities include opening/closing the cafe, preparing and serving food and beverages under Food Safety guidelines, general catering and cleaning duties, and cash till operations. A current Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable.

Qualifications

• Cleaning designated areas and maintaining cafe cleanliness.
• Preparedness for customers before and during cafe opening.
• Follow Food Safety and Nutrition guidelines.
