Job summary

Walmart Sam's Club in Papillion, NE is seeking a Prepared Foods and Café Department Lead to drive sales and supervise hourly associates who create and serve meals for our members.

You will model expertise in Prepared Foods and Café, lead rotations across fresh areas, ensure quality, safety and compliance, and collaborate with other leaders to meet the club's goals. You will train and mentor staff while focusing on member satisfaction and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience in a fresh production department or supervising a team.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Handler Certification (Food Safety) - Certification

Responsibilities

• Lead the prepared foods team, coordinate rotations and ensure department goals are met.
• Maintain operations standards, quality, sanitation, safety and compliance.
• Utilize digital tools and handheld devices to drive sales and decision-making.
• Ensure staffing, plan profitability, audit and merchandise layout, and partner with suppliers.
• Coach and develop team members to improve skills and performance.
