A Day in the Life of a Cafe Dishwasher

In this dishwashing position, you help our restaurant run like a well‑oiled machine. Your number one priority is to keep everything as clean as possible. Skillfully, you wash and sanitize dirty dishes, including plates, bowls, cups, pots, pans, utensils and more. After running the dishes through our dish machine, you unload them and organize them properly throughout our kitchen as well as helping with prep‑cook duties.

You make sure to keep the floors clean by thoroughly sweeping and mopping them. Additionally, you handle trash removal, taking out each trash can as they fill up. When necessary, you assist our kitchen staff with anything they need. You get great satisfaction from helping to keep our restaurant clean and tidy.
