Job summary

The Christ College Cafeteria is seeking an entry-level team member to perform food service, cashier duties, and sanitation tasks in the dining area. You will greet customers, operate the register, ensure accurate ticketing, and support meal service while following HACCP standards and college guidelines.

This role emphasizes friendly customer service, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a fast-moving cafe team during meal periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1 year of customer service and/or food service experience.
• Related food service knowledge and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide courteous service while identifying self.
• Operate cash register with speed and accuracy; assist bagging items for carry out orders.
• Take cash register readings and complete cash reports daily; mark voids and coupons.
• Maintain clean and sanitary conditions; follow HACCP guidelines; label and date items.
• Comply with all food safety and safety protocols; report concerns to a manager.
• Attend meetings to enhance knowledge, skills, and communication within the department.
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
