Job summary

Olympic Medical Center on Washington’s North Olympic Peninsula is seeking a Café Attendant to prepare fresh grill items and serve customers with a friendly, efficient approach. You’ll assist in a busy servery, handle cashiering, set up and break down the serving line, and help maintain a clean, inviting dining area while following established protocols.

A high school diploma is required; culinary or hospitality training is a plus, and food handler permits or ServSafe certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Training in cooking, culinary arts or hospitality industry preferred.
• Experience in the hospitality industry (wait staff, cashiering, food prep) preferred.
• Food Handler’s Permit required or able to obtain; ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh grill items and wait on customers promptly in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Set up and take down the serving line; prepare some fresh menu items; cashiering and daily reconciliation.
• Create visually appealing displays and maintain a clean, inviting servery and dining room.
