Job summary

Bellingham at West Chester is hiring a Café Cook Attendant to provide front-facing service to residents and guests, with hands-on cooking for grab-and-go and made-to-order items in the Community Café and Culinary Services. The role emphasizes quality, cleanliness, and resident-focused service in a senior living setting.

The position offers full-time and part-time schedules with alternating weekends, plus a benefits package including 401k, health, vision, life insurance, PTO, daily pay, and EAP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Culinary experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year restaurant/senior living or equivalent cooking experience.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify at all times Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation and operational organization.
• Adhere to food quality, appearance and presentation standards at all times.
• Produce and serve menu cycle programs that are compliant with required Nutritional/Dietary criteria as required by local regulations and correctly prepare diets provided per Policy and Procedure.
• Exhibit cooking and food preparation standards of speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of food preparation and production.
• Assist with serving of meals and ware washing as necessary.
• Visit residents periodically to evaluate food service and make revisions to promote improved service.
• Represent the community in a warm and inviting manner to support a positive marketing environment.
• Supports creating a culture where decisions drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
