Job summary

Hyatt Regency Bellevue on Seattle’s Eastside is excited to recruit for our newest Café Cook 2, supporting our colleagues with an energizing dining experience. The position prepares food items per recipes and standards and mainly supports the colleague Café, combining culinary skills with strong communication in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Ideal candidates have hotel cooking experience; a culinary degree is valued.

Qualifications

• Must have open and flexible availability, to include: mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Refined verbal communication skills
• Previous line experience in comparable high-volume environment preferred
• Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred
• Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items in accordance with recipes and established standards in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding service.
• Support our colleague dining experience in the colleague Café.
• Work in a high-volume hotel kitchen with attention to quality and safety.
