Job summary

The Lawrence Hall of Science in Berkeley is seeking a full-time Cashier to support the ampersand Kitchen operations. You will handle POS transactions, greet customers, and ensure accurate cash handling while maintaining a clean, safe service area.

Responsibilities include meal preparation, menu signage, and collaborating with staff to deliver an inclusive, welcoming environment for diverse visitors and staff.

Qualifications

• Cash handling experience in a retail operation.
• Public contact skills and experience.
• Must have basic English (reading, writing, listening, speaking) and math skills related to the safe and efficient performance of the job.
• Ability to follow oral/written instructions.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities
