Job summary

Concord Hospitality is seeking a friendly cashier to provide personalized service to guests, greet customers, and handle payments accurately. You will count cash before shifts, maintain clean work areas, and assist with basic inventory and record-keeping. Some bilingual ability is preferred, with weekend shifts and varied hours.

Qualifications

• Must be personable and able to meet the public.
• Cashier experience and computer knowledge helpful.
• Be proactive in counting money before a shift begins so that there is no miscalculation at the end of the shift.
• Greet and welcome customers.
• Resolve different types of complaints from customers or address them to the restaurant manager.
• Must have the ability to read and write.
• Must have basic computer awareness.
• Must be ready to work varied hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized service to guests.
• Wipe spills and maintain cleanliness of appliances and counters.
• Remove trash.
• Inform customers about payment modes and options (cash, check, credit card, debit).
• Stock shelves and monitor stock levels.
• Tabulate data regarding bills and expenses in the cash register or computers.
• Maintain records of transactions on computers.
• Deal with customers politely and professionally.
