The Opportunity

If you love good coffee and the people who come in for it, you’ll fit right in at Haymarket. As a Barista at our River Road café, you’ll make the drinks and the first impression for guests in the shop and at the drive‑through, alongside bread, pastry, and food from Ashbourne Farms.

What You’ll Do

• Make espresso drinks, brewed coffee, and café beverages to recipe on a commercial espresso machine
• Greet guests, take orders, and handle payments in the café and at the drive‑through
• Recommend drinks, pastries, and grab‑and‑go items from our farm and bakeshop
• Keep the bar, counter, and dining area clean, stocked, and guest‑ready
• Drop off local orders from time to time

• Valid driver’s license, for occasional local deliveries

No barista experience? We’ll train you.

Working Conditions

Requires standing and walking for shifts of up to 8–10 hours, working around hot equipment and cold storage, and lifting up to 50 lbs. These requirements may be met with or without reasonable accommodation.
