Haymarket on River Road in Louisville is seeking energetic Cafe Team Members. You will greet customers, craft drinks on high-end espresso machines, and prepare fresh menu items using local ingredients. You will also handle orders and payments with a friendly, polished approach.

The Pay & Perks

What You’ll Do

You will be the face of Haymarket, helping our customers have a great day whether they are inside the shop or in the drive-through.

• Craft Great Drinks: Use high-end espresso machines to make lattes, cappuccinos, and more.
• Serve Fresh Food: Prepare and serve delicious menu items using fresh, local ingredients.
• Be a Pro: Handle orders and payments quickly and accurately.
• Keep it Clean: Help keep our kitchen and dining areas sparkling clean, stocked, guest ready, and safe for everyone.
• Deliver the Goods: Occasionally help out by dropping off local orders.

What We’re Looking For

• A People Person: You have a friendly attitude and love helping customers by creating a polished first impression.
• A Multitasker: You can handle a busy rush while keeping a cool head.
• A Team Player: You show up ready to help your coworkers and keep things running smoothly.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: If you’ve worked in a cafe or as a barista before, that’s a huge plus!

A Few Details

• The Schedule: Weekend availability is a must!
• Physical Needs: You should be able to stand and walk for 8-10 hours and be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Environment: You’ll be working around hot ovens and cold freezers to get the job done.
