Job summary

Glorioso's Italian Market is seeking motivated cafe clerks for part-time and full-time roles to join our bakery/café area. You will engage customers, prepare and serve coffee drinks, and maintain displays with gelato, baked goods and beverages.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, answering questions, handling cash, taking special orders, and ensuring sanitation standards. Prior experience in a retail food environment is a plus. Training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience a plus
• Interest in food/beverages and retail
• Friendly, enthusiastic personality

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and respond to questions with a positive attitude
• Sell products by informing customers about offerings and options
• Prepare and serve coffee drinks (espresso, latte, cappuccino) per recipes
• Brew coffee and tea and refill beverages as requested
• Handle cash transactions accurately at the register
• Take and prepare special orders for customers
• Pack and label products for self-service displays
• Maintain bakery trays, gelato, and display cases
• Follow sanitation and safety guidelines at all times
• Assist with cleaning and other duties as assigned
