Job summary

VI at Aventura is hiring a Café Attendant to plate hot and cold foods and handle cafe setup during operating hours. You will serve items to residents and staff in a courteous, cheerful manner, ensuring a smooth cafe operation.

Qualified applicants are friendly, able to multitask, and comfortable with a POS system; certification in Food Handlers is preferred or required where applicable.

Responsibilities

Café Attendant

The enthusiastic team player we seek will perform plating responsibilities for hot and cold prepared foods and general setup and side work during the hours of the café's operation. You will serve food items in a professional, courteous and cheerful manner to residents, guests and staff.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants will be friendly and engaging individuals who present themselves courteously and professionally. You must be able to coordinate multiple tasks, use a Point of Sales (POS) system, must have basic knowledge of current sanitation and food handling techniques and basic math skills for managing café sales. Prior restaurant and/or customer service experience are preferred. Possess or be willing and able to obtain Food Handlers certification, as required.

Pay Range

USD $17.57 - USD $20.65 /Hr.
