Job summary

The Kimbell Art Museum is seeking friendly, service-oriented individuals to join the Kimbell Café team in a part-time, non-exempt role in Fort Worth, TX. The position offers up to 29 hours per week with shifts Tue-Sun from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with some flexibility and no Mondays.

Responsibilities include delivering customer service, assisting with food prep and hospitality, keeping a clean workspace, and helping with tables, dishwashing, and occasional catering events.

Qualifications

• Positive, outgoing attitude with a genuine enjoyment of interacting with the public.
• Basic food preparation experience preferred but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Physical ability to stand/walk for shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, attentive customer service to Café visitors.
• Build foundational skills in food preparation, hospitality, and problem-solving.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow safe food-handling practices.
• Assist with clearing guest tables and dishwashing duties as needed.
• Support weekend catering events as required.
