Sam's Club in Lathrop, CA is opening a brand-new cafe and is looking for friendly, dependable founding team members to help build a welcoming member experience from day one. As a founding Cafe Associate, you'll shape the member experience and support cafe operations.

In this role, you'll prepare and serve food items, monitor freshness and safety, stock displays, and contribute to a fast-paced, high-energy cafe while delivering great service to members.

• Use hand-held technology to make in-the-moment decisions about production, ordering, and product quality.
• Assist members with purchasing decisions, payment types, locating merchandise, and resolving issues.
• Support receiving club pick-up orders and stock displays with proper containers and packaging.
• Keep the cafe area clean, sanitized, and member-ready.
• Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment safely and effectively.

The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
