Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources; communicate effectively with team members; remain flexible to business needs.
• Be an Expert: prepare food according to item specifications; understand and plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management; operate, maintain and sanitize equipment; and demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution.
• Be a Techie: leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pickup orders, training and product quality with the member in mind; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.
• Be an Owner: drive the performance of the area; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date‑control standards; eliminate waste; provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs; assist members with purchasing decisions, payment types, locating merchandise and resolving member issues and concerns.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: advocate the brand; develop, influence and inspire others to work in a respectful, supportive and team‑oriented style; understand roadblocks and assist in training teammates.
• Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity; implement related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and apply these in executing business processes and practices.

Compensation

The hourly wage range for this position is $18.50 to $26.50. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
