Job summary

Morongo Casino Resort & Spa is seeking an Assistant Server for Good Times Café to support the service team in a fast-paced dining setting. You will help seat guests, take and deliver orders, and assist with bussing and station upkeep.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a guest-focused approach, plus adherence to ABC alcohol-service rules and health & safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Food Handler Certification required or must be obtained upon hire.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in a food and beverage support role such as busser, runner, or assistant server.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm, professional demeanor.
• Assist servers by taking and delivering food and beverage orders.
• Provide responsible alcohol service in accordance with ABC regulations, RBS/TIPS training, and internal policies.
• Serve beverages and food to guests promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu to answer guest inquiries confidently.
• Monitors the dining area to uphold cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards.
• Bus, clean, and reset tables quickly to maintain an inviting environment.
• Restocks and maintains workstation supplies to ensure readiness.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines during service and closing procedures.
