Job summary

Francis Howell School District is seeking a part-time Cafeteria Aide for the school cafeteria in Saint Charles, MO. The role runs 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a starting pay of $16.41 per hour.

You will monitor student behavior, assist students, and help keep the cafeteria clean and safe. Responsibilities include helping students with tasks, evacuations during emergencies, maintaining order, supervising, and promoting positive social interactions among students.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Experience: Some job-related experience is desired.
• Skills: Adherence to safety practices

Job Summary

The Café Aide supports the cafeteria's operations by monitoring student behavior, assisting students, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Students: Help students with tasks like opening packages and locating food lines.


• Emergency Support: Assist in evacuations and ensure student safety during emergencies.


• Maintain Order: Keep the cafeteria clean and orderly, and remind students of proper behavior.


• Supervise: Monitor students to ensure a safe and positive environment.


• Promote Social Skills: Encourage good social behavior among students.


• Respond to Inquiries: Provide information and direction as needed.


• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
