Job summary

Goken, headquartered in Dublin, Ohio, is seeking a CAE engineer to support durability and fatigue analyses for suspension components. The role involves preprocessing with HyperMesh, linear/nonlinear Abaqus analyses, and correlating results with test data.

Travel to client sites is required, and a Mechanical/Aerospace focus is preferred. Qualifications include a Bachelor's (or Master’s) in Engineering with 3–5 years (or 1+ years for MS) of CAE experience, plus expertise in HyperMesh/Abaqus and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 3–5 years relevant exp. or Master’s degree in Engineering with 1+ years relevant experience.
• Education with the following specialties preferred: Mechanical, Mechanical Technology, Aerospace, Automotive, Manufacturing
• Experience with CAE tools Hypermesh and Abaqus is required
• Experience with NCode or FEMFAT is required
• Experience with or strong knowledge of durability and fatigue analysis is required

Responsibilities

• Utilize Hypermesh and Ansa for preprocessing tasks and meshing.
• Responsible for dynamic and/or static, linear and/or nonlinear analysis utilizing CAE tool (Abaqus)
• Interpret data, develop, and report countermeasures using Hyperworks for post processing.
• Must be able to optimize and correlate analyses with real world test results.
• Communicates effectively within the group about milestones and issues, and outside the group to accomplish goals.
• Analyze and resolve complex problems independently or with minimal guidance.
• Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve product and/or processes.
• Utilizes Excel to create and update project schedules.
• Travel to client site required.

This role will support CAE development activities for durability/fatigue analysis of Suspension components
