Job summary

Optimas OE Solutions in the United States is seeking an Engineer who will report to the Director of Engineering and own new product launches, VAVE, and support quality, purchasing, and customer manufacturing.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 5+ years of manufacturing experience, strong accountability and communication, and a proven record on health, safety, and quality initiatives, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Deviation management for numerous customers, including submission of paperwork and managing prints between customers and suppliers.
• Support the commodity team with supplier changes by ensuring prints are correct and up to date.
• Process engineering change notices from customers.
• Drive processes and performance toward company targets and objectives.
• Provide detailed monthly reports of project status, issues, obsolescence, deviations, costs savings and optimization.
• Time management and organization.
• Problem solving and customer service.
• Analytical and technical product knowledge.
• Comfortable with computer systems and software.

Position Summary

• Deviation Management for numerous customers including submission of all paperwork to customers and managing Print relationships between customers and suppliers
• Support the commodity team with supplier changes by ensuring all Prints are correct and up to date from the customers and communicating throughout the implementation process to answer all engineering questions
• Process engineering change notices from customers
• Drive processes and performance towards company targets and objectives
• Provide detailed monthly reports of project status, issues, obsolescence, deviations, costs savings and areas of optimization
