Job summary

Virginia Tech is seeking a Recruitment Programs Manager to develop and implement recruitment initiatives for the Corps of Cadets. The role focuses on outreach to families and prospective students, working closely with ROTC, Undergraduate Admissions, and cadet leadership to build a diverse, talented pool of applicants.

This is primarily an in-person position in Blacksburg. The ideal candidate will bring persuasive communication, strong presentation skills, and a collaborative approach to engage

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience with college recruiting and presenting to diverse populations.
• Ability to counsel, coach, and mentor students and alumni volunteers.
• Experience with SLATE in Admissions or Enrollment Mgmt (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Corps recruiting programs and policies.
• Execute a comprehensive Corps recruiting plan for outreach to families and external student recruits.
• Collaborate with ROTC Departments, Undergraduate Admissions, and cadet regiment.
• Coordinate with VTCCA and event planning vendors; travel and in-person engagement as needed.
