Job summary

Lane Construction is seeking a CADD Technician to support the ALCOSAN Ohio River Tunnel Project in Pittsburgh. You will prepare, update, and maintain drawings, layouts, redlines, and exhibits related to tunnels, utilities, and temporary works, coordinating with engineers and field staff to reflect actual construction.

The role requires strong drafting accuracy, field coordination, and disciplined document control, working closely with surveyors and subcontractors to reflect on-site realities.

Qualifications

• Technical or associate degree in drafting, civil engineering technology, construction technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of CADD drafting experience on heavy civil or infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read and interpret civil, structural, utility, and geotechnical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise CAD drawings, sketches, and layout drawings from contract docs and field changes.
• Coordinate shop drawings, temporary works, utility drawings, and as-built updates.
• Maintain organized CAD files, drawing logs, and revision control.
• Assist with record drawings, field redlines, and drawing captures for submittals.
• Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and field staff to reflect built conditions.
