Job summary

Pennoni is seeking a skilled CADD Technician to join our multidisciplinary engineering team in Berryville, VA. The role focuses on daily survey data processing, drafting with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and preparing plats and maps with legal descriptions.

The ideal candidate has 4–7 years of experience, an associates degree or equivalent, and strong math, communication, and teamwork skills to support project delivery and quality control across assignments.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of work experience in surveying/d CAD drafting or related field.
• Associates Degree or HS/GED with equivalent experience accepted.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

• Daily processing of survey data and checks for accuracy.
• Prepare survey plats and drawings, legal descriptions.
• Perform deeds research, deed plotting and map checks.
• Provide office support and quality control on plats and drawings.
• Ensure schedules and productivity objectives are met.

Job Responsibilities

• Daily processing of survey data, including evaluating accuracy and sufficiency
• Experience with Civil 3D and Carlson
• Perform deeds research, deed plotting and map checks.
• Prepare survey plats and drawings, legal descriptions
• Provide office support.
• Perform quality control checks of plats and drawings.
• Ensure schedules and productivity objectives are achieved.

Required Attributes

• Required education: Associates Degree or High school / GED and equivalent experience
• Minimum years of work experience: 4-7
• Computer skills required: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent computer and technical skills, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD
• Proficient in technical math, including geometry and trigonometry
• Strong listening, writing, and verbal communications skills
• Strong work ethic and team-player attitude
