Responsibilities

• Complete biopsychosocial assessments.
• Formulate diagnostic summaries evaluating clinical needs and conditions.
• Formulate individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic findings.
• Coordinate input from the team, family and patient to align goals.
• Continuously revise treatment plans based on progress or new information.
• Introduce patient and family to 12-step recovery.
• Prepare discharge plans with patient, team and family.
• Deliver addiction-focused group counseling.
• Provide clinical supervision to students under supervision of Substance Use Service.
• Deliver addiction/recovery education.
• Participate in Quality Improvement and program development activities.
