Job summary

WSB is seeking a CAD Technician to join our Norman, OK team, focusing on transportation, municipal, and land/site development drawings. The role offers growth with a dynamic firm working on diverse US projects.

The candidate will prepare revisions, assist with quantities, and read construction plans while using design software and reporting to a PE & Project Manager. Office-based with some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Civil Engineering Technology or similar from an accredited school.
• 3+ years of Municipal/Transportation engineering experience.

What You Will Do

• Prepare and revise technical drawings for transportation, municipal, and/or land/site development projects
• Assist in design, quantity calculations, and completing plan sheets
• Prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents and have a functional understanding of design software packages
• Work under the direction of a PE & Project Manager

What You Will Bring

• Associates degree in Civil Engineering Technology or similar degree from an accredited school
• 3+ years of experience in Municipal / Transportation engineering or related field is required
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• 2+ years of experience using OpenRoads Designer
• Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic will allow you to excel in this position
• Ability to work 40 hours a week
• Work is primarily performed in an office environment with standard office equipment, occasional travel or field visits may be required to support
• Ability to work full-time in office at WSB's Norman or Tulsa, OK office locations
