Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a CADD Technician to produce and update detailed CAD drawings for substation, transmission, and distribution projects. You will translate designs into high-quality documentation while juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced utility engineering environment.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of CAD/drafting experience.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify engineering drawings using CAD tools.
• Support design work across substation, transmission, and distribution projects.
• Review and incorporate PDF markups using Bluebeam.
• Prepare layouts, sketches, and technical drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers on project deliverables.
• Manage multiple active project assignments simultaneously.
