Job summary

STV Incorporated is seeking a CAD Technician/Modeler in New Jersey to support major highway and bridge infrastructure projects. You will create high-quality drawings and 3D models using Bentley and BIM technologies, coordinating with engineers and project teams to meet client standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of transportation drafting/modeling experience, strong technical skills in MicroStation, Revit, AutoCAD and Bentley tools, and the ability to work independently within CAD/BIM

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Drafting & Design or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of transportation drafting and/or modeling experience.
• Proficiency with MicroStation, Bentley modeling tools, Revit and CAD/BIM workflows.
• Ability to work independently and solve technical challenges.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and develop construction drawings and 3D models using CAD/BIM standards and client requirements.
• Prepare transportation design deliverables including plans, profiles, sections, details, and exhibits.
• Coordinate CAD and BIM information with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Identify and resolve drawing and modeling issues with minimal supervision.
• Manage multiple assignments while meeting project schedules and deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with client standards, workflows, and software environments.
• Support production of accurate and high-quality project documentation.

In this role, you will support major highway and bridge infrastructure projects by creating high-quality drawings and 3D models using Bentley and BIM technologies.
