Job summary

Creighton Manning, a GAI company, seeks a MicroStation CADD Drafter/Technician to support CAD needs across Civil, Highway, Structures, Traffic, and Survey groups. You will draft plans, figures, survey mapping, and presentation graphics using MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, and ProjectWise, with exposure to field surveys and traffic counts as opportunities.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a CAD certificate and have 1+ years' experience; Autodesk

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology or CAD certificate from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred or equivalent hands-on educational experience.
• Experience with Bentley MicroStation and NYSDOT CAD standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support CAD needs directly with engineering and surveying staff across Civil, Highway, Structures, Traffic and Survey groups.
• Perform advanced CAD tasks using MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.
• Prepare contract plans from scratch with mark-ups from design staff.
• Observe NYSDOT CAD standards and assist in QA/QC of CAD work.
• Create graphics and presentation visuals for projects and marketing.
• Extract details from 3D models for plan creation and assist in field work as needed.
