Job summary

Creighton Manning, a GAI company, is seeking a MicroStation CAD Drafter/Technician to support civil, highway, structures, traffic and survey CAD needs. You will draft plans, create graphics for proposals, and assist in field surveys as needed.

The role emphasizes adherence to NYSDOT CAD standards, use of MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer, and basic QA/QC with opportunities for professional development within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or CAD certificate from an accredited program or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience preferred or equivalent educational experience.
• Familiarity with NYSDOT CAD standards; Bentley MicroStation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support CAD needs with engineering and surveying staff for Civil, Highway, Structures, Traffic and Survey.
• Perform advanced CAD tasks using MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer; prepare contract plans from markups.
• Ensure compliance with CME NYSDOT CAD standards and QA/QC of CAD work.
• Assist in automating CAD processes and generate graphics for presentations and marketing.
• Contribute to field work such as documenting existing conditions and traffic counts.
