Job summary

CPH, a leading Engineering and Architecture firm, is looking for a CAD Technician to join our dynamic and collaborative land development team in Tampa, Florida. You'll create detailed drawings using Civil 3D, and work closely with engineers, architects, and clients to ensure specifications are met.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year of experience with Civil 3D, proficiency in MS Office, and a relevant educational background, such as an Associate’s Degree or a Computer-Aided Design Certificate. We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience using Civil 3D.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with Commercial, Retail, Restaurant, and Industrial projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

CPH is a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architecture firm that ranks in the nation’s Top 500 Design Firms by ENR Magazine. We are seeking a CAD Technician to join our dynamic and collaborative land development team in Tampa.

Duties Include

• Create detailed drawings based on required specifications, requirements and plans using Civil 3D.
• Collaborate and coordinate design with project team including engineers, architects, designers, consultants, and clients.
• Prepare layouts, diagrams, sketches, and drawings for various projects.
• Review and modify existing drawings or models as requested by project managers.
• Interpret relevant codes and client requirements.
• Implement and utilize established CAD standards and templates.
• Assist in coordinating project documentation ensuring all technical requirements are met.
• Perform periodic travel to conduct site investigations, measurements, and construction observation; prepare subsequent reports and exhibits.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
• Maintain records of drawings, revisions, and related project documents.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience using Civil 3D.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with Commercial, Retail, Restaurant, and Industrial projects is a plus.

Education

• Associate’s Degree or Computer-Aided Design Certificate.
