Job summary

TeamLINX seeks a CAD Technician I for its Security Division in Denver, onsite at the corporate headquarters. You will design and document 2D/3D CAD drawings for low-voltage security systems in partnership with the engineering team.

The role emphasizes precision, ability to read specifications, and collaboration with project managers to ensure on-time delivery of complex security solutions. This is a full-time onsite opportunity with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or related CAD/Engineering Technology coursework or hands-on experience.
• Internship or CAD drafting experience in a business environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Design and document 2D and 3D CAD drawings for security system installations using AutoCAD/Bluebeam.
• Produce shop drawings and as-built drawings and technical documentation for CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and IP camera configurations.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards and industry regulations; maintain organized documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineering, sales and estimators to ensure timely project delivery.
• Interpret sketches and specifications to produce accurate drawings and support design changes as needed.
