Job summary

Securityhunter, Inc. is seeking a mid-level CAD drafter to support our engineering team in Maryland. You will analyze drawings, develop detailed shop drawings, and assist in the design, development, and implementation of advanced security projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office is required, along with strong English communication. The role begins with on-site onboarding for 90 days, then shifts to a hybrid schedule (three days in-office, two remote days per week).

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and developing detailed engineering drawings.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to pass required federal background checks (criminal and civil).

Responsibilities

• Analyze architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare shop drawings.
• Revise shop drawings based on engineer mark-ups until full project approval is achieved.
• Review designs and red lines for accuracy and quality.
• Prepare a final record set of shop drawings from approved mark-ups.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
