Seneca Resources is seeking an entry level CAD Technician I in Exton, PA to develop skills in drafting across electrical, mechanical, or civil disciplines under supervision. The role focuses on preparing scalable drawings and basic engineering computations under direct oversight.

The position involves collaborating with engineers to produce substation and line design packages, while building competence in CAD software and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of technical school training or equivalent experience.
• Proven AutoCAD or MicroStation skills.
• Strong PC/IT skills (Word, Excel, etc).
• Good written and oral communication.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagrams, schematics, layouts, and drawings to scale per client requests.
• Mathematical, geometrical, and minor engineering computations.
• Produce CAD drawings using CAD systems.
• Create design drawings and specifications for civil/electrical equipment as needed.
