Job summary

Komline is seeking a CAD Technician I in Chattanooga, TN, to prepare, modify, and maintain product drawings and digital libraries for manufacturing and customer projects. You will collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Production, and Quality Control to ensure drawings meet current design standards and specifications.

The role emphasizes developing 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and engineering documentation while maintaining quality, accuracy, and timely execution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor and/or SolidWorks.
• Ability to read and interpret sketches.
• Ability to review and understand contract drawings and specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret construction and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with minimal supervision.
• Self-starter with the ability to complete projects on schedule.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to internal and external customer timelines and expectations.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to understand process control, inspection, and testing requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with Engineering, Sales, Production, and Quality Control teams to support project execution.
• Manage multiple assignments while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About This Opportunity

The CAD Technician I is responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining product drawings and digital drawing libraries in support of manufacturing and customer projects. This role collaborates closely with Engineering, Sales, Production, and Quality Control teams to ensure products are accurately documented and produced according to current design standards and specifications. The CAD Technician I supports the development of 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and engineering documentation while maintaining quality, accuracy, and on-time project execution.
