Job summary

Komline is seeking a CAD Technician II in the New Jersey area. The role focuses on drafting, 3D modeling, and engineering documentation for customer and manufacturing projects.

You will collaborate with Sales, Production, Quality Control, and other teams to support quotation development and project execution while ensuring designs meet both customer requirements and manufacturing needs. The position requires 2–5 years of CAD design experience and proficiency with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD,

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional CAD design, drafting, or modeling experience.
• Strong proficiency with CAD software and drawing standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models from physical samples and 2D drawings.
• Prepare product assembly and shop drawings for customer projects, sales support, and manufacturing operations.
• Complete sizing calculations and prepare drawings for specifications and quotations.
• Maintain drawing files and documentation for quoting, fabrication, and quality control activities.
• Review project requirements and develop drawings that meet customer specifications and business standards.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to understand process control, inspection and testing requirements.
• Work with Sales, Production, Quality Control, and other cross‑functional teams to support project execution.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and accuracy.
