Job summary

Renaissance Infrastructure Consulting, Inc. is seeking a CAD Technician to assist engineers with designing and drafting for infrastructure, roadway and site development projects.

The role emphasizes producing, updating, and assembling plan sets with a focus on high-quality work products in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should have strong organization, be self-motivated, and proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley PowerGeopak, along with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in civil drafting related curriculum preferred.
• In lieu of an associate degree a minimum of 3 year’s CAD experience.
• Experience with preparing civil engineering drawings.
• Intermediate to Advanced experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley PowerGeopak.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software.
• Ability to communicate effectively with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley PowerGeopak in plan production.
• Communicate with the project leaders through all phases of project completion and meet deadlines.
• Prepare dimensional drawings and installation drawings for plan sets and submittal documents.
• Develop, design, and modify engineering drawings for infrastructure, roadway, and site development projects.
• Regularly communicate and collaborate with the project managers before, during, and after completion of work.
• Generate quantities and estimates from plan sets.
