Job summary
Baker Hughes is seeking a CAD Technician to translate concepts into precise 2D and 3D drawings for engineering, manufacturing, and project execution. You will work with engineers, designers, and project managers to produce detailed models and documentation that meet standards and support efficient delivery.

Qualifications
- Diploma, certificate or associate degree in CAD, drafting, engineering technology, or related field.
- Proficiency in CAD software with SolidWorks required; AutoCAD a plus.
- Strong understanding of drafting standards, symbols and conventions.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering concepts.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Produce 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Develop detailed layouts, views, and sections from sketches and specs.
- Create and organize installation instruction illustrations.
- Revise/update drawings to reflect design changes and project requirements.
- Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and internal practices.
- Maintain and update drawing files, documents, and revision control in the DMS.
- Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project teams to resolve issues.
- Perform additional drafting/tasks based on workload and business needs.
