Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a CAD Technician in Missouri to translate engineering concepts into precise 2D and 3D drawings. You will collaborate with engineers, designers, and project managers to produce accurate CAD models and documentation that support manufacturing and project execution.

The role requires SolidWorks proficiency (AutoCAD a plus) and a solid grasp of drafting standards. You will contribute to continuous improvement of design workflows and be part of a team delivering high-quality

Qualifications

Diploma, certificate, or associate degree in CAD, drafting, engineering technology, or related field.
Proficiency in CAD software with SolidWorks required; AutoCAD a plus.
Strong understanding of drafting standards, symbols, and technical conventions.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering concepts.

Responsibilities

Produce 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Develop detailed layouts, views, and sections from sketches and specifications.
Create and organize installation instruction illustrations.
Revise drawings to reflect design changes and project requirements.
Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and internal practices.
Maintain drawing files and revision control within the document management system.
Coordinate with engineers and project teams to resolve design issues.
Perform additional drafting tasks as needed.
