Job summary

Ps Seasonings is seeking a Production CAD Drafter to create and revise 2D and 3D drawings for smoker assemblies and accessories. You will maintain BOMs and revision history, and translate concepts into production-ready documents in partnership with design engineers.

This role also covers ECO implementation, document control, and collaboration with manufacturing, sourcing, and quality teams. An associate degree or CAD certification and 2+ years of manufacturing CAD drafting experience are

Qualifications

• An associate degree or CAD certification in drafting or related field.
• 2+ years of CAD drafting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with sheet metal, weldments, and assemblies preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise 2D and 3D CAD drawings for smoker assemblies, parts, and accessories.
• Maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and drawing revision history.
• Translate concepts into production-ready drawings with design engineers.
• Provide prints, cut lists, and assembly documentation to manufacturing.
• Implement ECOs and ensure revision control and document release processes.
• Archive obsolete drawings per company procedures.
• Support quality investigations by verifying drawing requirements.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, sourcing, and quality teams on drawing needs.
• Communicate drawing changes clearly to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

CAD Drafting & Documentation

• Create and revise 2D and 3D CAD drawings for smoker assemblies, parts, and accessories
• Maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and drawing revision history

Engineering & Manufacturing Support

• Work closely with design engineers to translate concepts into production-ready drawings
• Support manufacturing by providing accurate prints, cut lists, and assembly documentation
• Assist with tooling, fixture, and assembly layout drawings

Change Management

• Implement engineering change orders (ECOs) by updating drawings and related documentation
• Ensure proper revision control and document release processes are followed
• Archive obsolete drawings per company procedures

Quality & Compliance

• Support quality investigations by updating or verifying drawing requirements
• Ensure drawings align with company standards and applicable safety requirements
• Assist with standardization of drawing templates and CAD practices

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with manufacturing, sourcing, and quality teams to clarify drawing requirements
• Communicate drawing changes and updates clearly to stakeholders

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

• Associate degree or technical certification in CAD drafting, engineering technology, or a related field
• 2+ years of CAD drafting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with sheet metal, weldments, and assemblies preferred

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and basic GD&T
• Familiarity with BOM structures and ERP systems is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to follow standards and work effectively with engineers and production teams
