Davis, Bowen & Friedel, Inc. (DBF) seeks a CAD Technician to support the production of infrastructure drawings for water, wastewater, stormwater, and streets. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, with Carlson Precision 3D/Civil 3D experience preferred.
This is an in-office position with no remote work available at this time. The role emphasizes problem-solving, reliability, and collaboration with engineers and surveyors to ensure accurate designs and timely client submittals.

Our CAD Technicians help to enhance, maintain, and protect the communities we work, live, and play in. In this role, we are looking for an individual who is a problem-solver, driven and reliable; one who will identify opportunities to improve the quality of work and services, and participate in their implementation. This position will include, but not be limited to, assisting and providing support to various departments throughout the firm with the design, drafting, and development of construction drawings for infrastructure and residential projects including water, wastewater, stormwater, and streets. Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD is required for the position.

The candidate should possess a high-school diploma or GED. The preferred candidate will have general knowledge of basic site design including grading and drainage and erosion control design. Two (2) years of direct work utilizing Carlson Precision 3D or Civil 3D, and construction drawing preparation is preferred but not required.
