CAD Technician – Contract We are seeking a CAD Technician for a 6-month contract opportunity in Downtown Houston, TX. This is a fully onsite position, Monday through Friday. This is a great opportunity for an entry-level CAD professional looking to gain experience supporting engineering and construction-related projects.

Position Details

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using CAD software.
• Prepare rough and detailed scale plans based on sketches, engineering calculations, specifications, and other technical information.
• Draft plans and drawings for structures, installations, and construction projects.
• Gather and assemble information required to complete designs.
• Coordinate with engineering and other team members to resolve design or drafting issues.
• Review design concepts and understand their technical implications.
• Assist with drawings related to civil, structural, architectural, and public works projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of CAD/drafting experience.
• Basic knowledge of CAD/CADD software and drafting techniques.
