Job summary

Actalent is seeking a CAD Technician in Winter Garden, FL, to prepare survey and civil drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D. You will support licensed surveyors, PMs, and engineers in developing boundary, topographic, ALTA surveys, and land development projects.

The role requires 2+ years of Civil 3D experience, proficiency in survey drafting standards, and the ability to interpret deeds and easements. This is a contract-to-hire onsite position with a pay range of $27.00-$35.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control reviews for drafting accuracy and standards.
• Organize project files, references, and drawing databases.

Position Summary The CAD Technician is responsible for preparing survey and civil engineering drawings utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D. This position will support licensed surveyors, project managers, and engineers in the development of boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, subdivision plats, and land development projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare survey drawings utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Process field data and survey information into accurate deliverables.
• Create and maintain existing and proposed surface models.
• Draft boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction staking surveys.
• Prepare subdivision plats, easement exhibits, and legal description exhibits.
• Assist with grading plans, utility layouts, and site development plans.
• Produce construction document plan sets and permit exhibits.
• Coordinate with survey crews, project managers, and licensed surveyors.
• Perform quality control reviews to ensure drafting accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Organize project files, references, and drawing databases.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
