Job summary

Green Key Resources is partnering with an established civil engineering organization to recruit a CAD Systems Administrator who will support MicroStation and OpenRoads, manage CAD workspaces, and ensure standards.

The role involves training users, creating guides, assisting with software updates and licensing, and collaborating with engineers and IT to improve CAD workflows and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with MicroStation and/or OpenRoads.
• Experience in CAD administration, configuration, standards, or production support.
• Familiarity with Bentley CONNECT applications.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain MicroStation and OpenRoads environments.
• Manage CAD workspaces, configurations, templates, libraries, and standards.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide day-to-day user support.
• Train users through group sessions and one-on-one coaching.
• Create user guides, documentation, and training materials.
• Assist with software updates, licensing, deployments, and system compliance.
• Support ProjectWise and other Bentley applications.
• Identify opportunities to improve CAD workflows and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, CAD professionals, and IT teams.

Job description

Green Key Resources is partnering with an established engineering organization to identify a CAD Systems Administrator with a strong background in Bentley MicroStation and/or OpenRoads. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys a combination of technical support, CAD administration, user training, and process improvement.

The person in this role will help engineering and design teams get the most out of their CAD technology by supporting system configurations, troubleshooting issues, maintaining standards, and providing hands-on training. You will also have the opportunity to help improve workflows and introduce more efficient ways of working across multiple teams.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support and maintain MicroStation and OpenRoads environments
• Manage CAD workspaces, configurations, templates, libraries, and standards
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide day-to-day user support
• Train new and existing users through group sessions and one-on-one coaching
• Create user guides, documentation, and training materials
• Assist with software updates, licensing, deployments, and system compliance
• Support ProjectWise and other Bentley applications
• Identify opportunities to improve CAD workflows, standards, and efficiency
• Work closely with engineers, project managers, CAD professionals, and IT teams

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience working with MicroStation and/or OpenRoads
• Experience with CAD administration, configuration, standards, or advanced production support
• Knowledge of Bentley CONNECT applications
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to train and support users with varying levels of technical experience
• Experience in civil engineering, transportation, land development, or infrastructure is preferred
• ProjectWise experience is a plus
• Experience with VBA, PowerShell, Python, or other automation tools is a plus
